I love that! the shading, their poses, LIET'S FACE and don't worry about armor, it's very difficult to find references. fortunately for Poles, there was a film about these times, "Krzyżacy" ("Teutonic knights") and there you can find some armors XD and other things. pretty useful ; )
also, I'm sorry for all favs without commenting. but these pictures were too great >3<
Thank you very much! this Liet's face is the best of his faces that I've drawn.(´∀`；) Thank you for telling me the film "Krzyżacy",I'll try to find and watch it. In fact recently I found some armor's data of 15 century (one is Polish heavy cavalry!), since this year is the 600th year of the Battle of Grunwald.C:
Please don't mind about comments! I also do that, Somewhat because I need many time to write English, and usually confuse in what should I write...
oh yes, that year is pretty important, since there are many fans of Medieval Ages in Poland and they make historical costumes for themselves : D from another useful movies, there are also "Potop" ("The deluge"), "Ogniem i Mieczem" ("By fire and the sword") and "Pan Wołodyjowski" (I don't remember how they translated it into English, it's just a name) and they are about wars in 16th-17th centuries. so if you would like some references and couldn't find them anywhere - there are some nice costumes : D
ahh, I have the same with writing in English, haha XD
Their faces, and the armor--I can never get metal to look properly shiny, myself--and the way their bodies interact. Those are my favorite parts. Poland's hair looks gorgeous, and you managed to make them look realistic without taking away their design.
